Psychosynthesis Counselling

Psychosynthesis is a method of psychological development, a comprehensive and practical approach which aims to help people realise their true nature and potential. It is an approach that helps us move away from what we don’t want in our lives, towards what we do.

Psychosynthesis recognises that each of us is constantly growing, and has been described as ‘psychology with a soul’. It aims to bring awareness, wholeness, and connection to the process of individual evolution, so that we may become master of our own lives.

Grief Counselling

The death of a loved one shifts the whole foundation of our life. The experience of grief often brings people into unfamiliar territory. Nothing is as it was. Normal events may now bring social, emotional or spiritual challenges.

Amanda is a Registered Nurse and trained counsellor with many years experience in palliative care, grief and loss.  She works at the Grief Centre in Birkenhead and is also available in her rooms at Mt Eden and Beach Haven for bereavement support and counselling.
