Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is a naturally induced state of relaxed concentration. It is a trance like state that has been likened to the kind of absorption one finds in a gripping film, deep concentration or some forms of meditation where one experiences an inner focus of attention and is relatively free of distractions from the environment.

Hypnosis has been described as a ‘bridge to the unconscious’ and is a safe and effective way to enhance physical and psychological health. In hypnotherapy the therapist gives appropriate, positive suggestions while using techniques that powerfully focus your mind on the goal of your choice.

Hypnosis is not mind control or brain washing; one retains self awareness and self control while allowing the subconscious mind to cleave to suggestions that reduce self limiting beliefs and accelerate healthy change in thinking and behaviour.
